Alistair Shaw, BSc MCSP
Alistair is a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified in 2001 from the University of Hertfordshire.
Alistair has been practising at Parks Therapy Centre for 3 years and has worked in both the NHS and privately. He has completed postgraduate courses in Myofascial release, basic Acupuncture and trigger point release Acupuncture amongst others. His special interests include musculoskeletal conditions, both spinal and peripheral, sports related injuries and Acupuncture for acute and chronic pain relief.
Alistair uses Myofascial Release Techniques, which are non-invasive techniques used to strengthen weakened muscle groups, reduce swelling, improve restricted joint mobility and lengthen tight or spastic muscles. He also uses Myofascial Release to treat most joints in the body in a gentle, safe manner.
