Angela Foster, M.Inst.Ch.P

Angela FosterAngela qualified as a chiropodist/podiatrist at the School of Chiropody and Podiatric Medicine at Maidenhead in 1991 and has over 20 years of experience in private practice.

In addition to working at Parks Therapy Centre she works with local clinics and at residential and nursing homes. For 15 years, she has provided chiropody/podiatry to members of the forces at Brampton and Wyton. This makes up a very busy, varied and full time career. Her previous experience, gained working with disabled residents at Papworth, has proved invaluable with the specialised needs of those with physical and learning disabilities.

Angela is very involved with the continuing professional development needs of fellow Chiropodists/Podiatrists, having been Chair and Education Officer of the East Anglia Branch of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.

Her specialist interest is in lower limb bio-mechanical assessment, using mobilisation and manipulation techniques and recommending and supplying orthotics if appropriate. This can help with conditions causing pain, such as flat foot, corns, metatarsalgia and heel pain.
