Linda Tongue

Linda TongueLinda has been practising Yoga since she was 18 and has been teaching since 2000. She originally trained with the Yoga for Health Foundation at Ickwell Bury and is currently training in Yoga Therapy with Anubhava Yoga UK. She regularly attends in service training days with the British Wheel of Yoga & Iyengar Yoga UK and she is also currently training with Anusara - a heart based yoga approach.

In addition to teaching classes at Parks Therapy Centre her specialist interests are in teaching various styles of classes in Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. Linda also works as a Yoga therapist at an alcohol recovery centre and teaches, on a one to one basis, people with specific needs.

Linda says "Yoga works physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It re-unites the fragmented self and helps relieve or eradicate numerous health problems if practiced on a regular basis such as anxiety, depression, pain, joint and back problems, imbalances in the body, problems with internal organs and breathing problems. People say that they come away from a Yoga class with a total feeling of wellbeing and this carries through in their everyday life."
