Michael Balshaw, BSc[Hons] MBAcC
Michael is a practitioner of Chinese Medicine specialising in Acupuncture and massage. His interest in both began whilst living and working in Japan.
Michael has worked in various areas of the health sector. He worked in the Physiotherapy department at St Georges hospital in London and in 1999 was approached by St Bartholomews Hospital, in London, to establish a massage service.
Michael studied for a BSc (Hons) in TCM Acupuncture at the University of Westminster, graduating in 2003, and has gone on to do post graduate studies in Japanese Acupuncture. He now practises in Ely and at Parks and is the deputy module leader of the Acupuncture point location team at the University of Westminster in London.
He is also a keen practitioner and teacher of Iyengar yoga.
