Zhi-Hua, who is also known as Katherine, studied medicine at the
Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China from 1989 to 1994. Whilst there, she gained the “Elite Student Title” for three successive academic years, prior to qualifying in 1994.
She then worked as a house registrar and junior Surgeon at the Red Cross Hospital in Nanjing until the end of 1997.
Katherine moved to England in 1998 and has held a number of posts in which she has practised Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She also works in other clinics around Flitwick and North Bedford, in addition to her work at Parks.
Since arriving in England, Katherine has returned to China several times to consolidate her training at Nanjing University. She is a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine [RHCM] and only uses RHCM approved suppliers of Chinese herbs.
Katherine has a particular interest in the treatment of infertility and auto-immune system deficiency using Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] She believes that TCM works well in treatment of these difficult conditions, because it is particularly good at achieving the necessary balance and change in life style details.
